La Enciclopedia Visual de Geyperman was published in 2009, the first book on the 30 cm Spanish action figure. Given the conditions of that launch, the 250 copies fell short and many collectors asked for a larger print run. To meet that demand, a revised and expanded version is now published. This new look at the Geyperman world takes a more historical approach: its forerunners (GI Joe and Action Man) and influences (Action Joe, Action Team, Madelman), the story of Geyper, the company that produced it in Spain, a review of its catalogue reference by reference and, of course, its 21st century heirs, the Bizak figures and the HobbyCrash reissue. Across 614 pages illustrated with thousands of full-colour images, the book brings the reader into the fascinating world of Geyperman: photographs of the sets with dioramas of accessories, vehicles, weapons and boxes, original Geyper documents and production material, press cuttings and monographic sections on related subjects.
