Madelman wagon to repair and complete. It has been played with a good deal, as can be seen in the photographs and as detailed here. The wagon body is missing the closing lid under the seat, the complete brake, the hooks for the reins and the tailgate; it keeps the seat and the chest lid with their hinges. The canvas tilt is clean but somewhat creased and missing one eyelet; it could not be assembled because two rods are broken, one of the four lengths of cord seems to be missing and it is unclear whether all the pieces for the five rods are there. The team has two complete horses with their harness, except for the reins and one of the harness straps on one horse, and only one of the chain pieces that attach the horse to the wagon. Both horses have a broken and glued leg that needs paint to cover the repair, and show scratches in the paint and marks from the rubber of the harness. The piece is in heavily played condition; even so, with a little skill and dedication it can be brought back to spectacular shape and recover the look of the finest piece ever made for the Madelman.
