A few years after the introduction of the Geyper Man, Geyper decides to update the figure as other brands had done. Given the rush to present the novelty and the impossibility of having it in time for the 1978 Christmas campaign, it was decided to use parts of the previous mannequin and combine them with the new molds as they were received at the factory, in order to announce the novelty as soon as possible. In this way, and although there are variations with a first stage head, the so-called "Mannequin 78" was created, which would be on sale for a few months, until the rest of the molds of the new mannequin were received. This type of figure is scarce in comparison with the rest, since it was only produced for a few months in 1978.
This figure presents the peculiarity of using the torso of the first issue together with the legs of the second, thus achieving a figure that combines the good articulation of the elbows of the first mannequin with the better hip articulation of the second, for which reason It is the best option for posing figures pointing a rifle at their shoulder or sitting in a vehicle.
